What Would Connie Confetti Do?

So, I am the author of an illustrated children's book entitled "Connie Confetti."  Connie Confetti is a cute little girl who loves everything confetti -- and I mean everything.  Her backpack.  Her bedroom walls.  All of her outfits.  Her socks.  Her dog's bandana.  You get the point.  She loves confetti in her world.  And she's a do-good type of little girl.  She visits the sick by delivering baked goods on confetti plates.  She's kind to all of her classmates, even though they cannot understand her love of confetti.  They even laugh at her.  :(

When Connie Confetti's little dog, Jordan, gets sick on the day of her birthday party, she focuses on getting Jordan better.  The party takes place and her friends arrive at her confetti-themed party (of course -- what other type of party were you expecting?) all dressed in confetti outfits.  She wanted their "presence" at her party, not their "presents," and they give her the best gift of all:  a little tribute to her love of confetti by walking in her shoes.  A sweet story and a happy ending.  The moral of my children's story:  "When  you wear a  confetti party everyday -- on your outfit and in your heart -- who can help but smile and be happy?"

So throughout this blog, I will talk about some of my daily adventures and add in a little Connie Confetti touch.  What Would Connie Confetti Do? will be my resounding theme.  I'll try to be imaginative and see how Connie Confetti would handle the situation.  Stay tuned.  There's bound to be a lot of confetti!  Lots and lots.
